AMSTEL GOLD RACE 2006

One week after Fabian Cancellara victory on Paris-Roubaix, Franck Schleck has won the 2006 AMSTEL GOLD RACE for the CSC team. If it goes this way, I won't have enough photos to illustrate the complete season with the CSC team cars and busses.

I hope I'll get some photos of the VW and Audi of  the race's officials.

In order to wait, let's take the opportunity to go 40 years back and look at the photo-finish. This 1966 Amstel Gold Race edition was won by the French Rider J. Stablinsky. Behind him is the belgian Bernard van de Kerckhove...and a SKODA !

Well, even if we are not looking at CSC cars we still get some Skoda !
